Liberty Baptist Church

Pastor Darvin Shipman was raised in a preacher's
home, but didn't trust Jesus as his Saviour until he
was 21 years old in July, 1970. He is a graduate of
Pacific Baptist Bible College formerly located in San
Dimas, California and now known as Heartland
Baptist Bible College located in Oklahoma City, OK.
During the last 32 years, he has been pastor at 7
churches in New Mexico, Idaho, Washington,
Mississippi and now Texas, and assistant pastor in
Milan, New Mexico and then in Little Rock,
Arkansas, for 12 years. His ministry has been
primarily restoring and rebuilding churches. He and
his wife, Lorita, have 6 children who all serve the
Lord faithfully. His two daughters & their families
serve in their local Independent Baptist churches.
All four sons are pastors in Kansas, Washington and
Texas.
